Try the MacDougall "eating plan." Not really a diet at all, just a better way to eat. Lots of carbs, protein, all vegetarian (not vegan) and recipes quite yummy considering the contents of the pantry. Bill and I lost a combined 40 pounds one summer (in six weeks) without doing any more exercise than normal.This IS NOT an Atkins-style diet--quite the opposite with hi-carb and ultra-low fat. It made us feel real good and we still abide by some of the eating practices, although we're due for another round of it (or South Beach) soon.Good luck, Frenchy!xo, Michael D'
