That Sarah Palin really stuck it to the blame-America first crowd today.

"It sure would be nice if, just once, Barack Obama said he wants America to win," she said, as the crowd cheered.

"We are always proud to be Americans, and we don't apologize for being Americans," Palin added later.

Hell yeah! You tell 'em, Sarah! Only America-hating liberal commie wusses apologize for America. Real 'Mericans are always -- always -- proud of America and don't got nothin' to be sorry about.

Like:

A week after the release of photographs showing American soldiers torturing Iraqi prisoners, President Bush apologized for the abuse for the first time yesterday and called the revelations "a stain on our country's honor and our country's reputation."

And:

After US army’s prompt apologies for shooting of the Quran by a US soldier stationed in Iraq failed to calm down this potentially explosive situation, President George Bush has stepped in and offered apology to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

And:

President Bush apologized Friday for the shoddy conditions at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and promised during a visit to the facility for war veterans that "we're going to fix the problem."

And:

President George W. Bush apologized to the Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak, on Thursday for the killing of an Egyptian vendor when a cargo ship chartered by the United States opened fire on his small boat near the Suez Canal on Monday in an incident that has enraged Egyptians.

And:

President Bush apologized today for the deaths of two Korean girls hit by a United States military vehicle in June, an incident that has led to angry anti-American demonstrations.

And:

U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, visiting Afghanistan Wednesday, apologized for the deaths of Afghan citizens from recent U.S. and allied airstrikes.

And:

U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld apologized and took responsibility for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners at the hands of U.S. soldiers.

And:

In 1988, Ronald Reagan apologized to Japanese-Americans placed in internment camps during World War II.

Why wasn't Ronald Reagan always proud of America?
