Topsy-Turvy Tomato Update

It is week 4 of my Topsy-Turvy Tomato experiment. As we have gotten some sunshine in the last few days the plants have really taken off. The plants are larger and there are significantly more blossoms on the plants than before.


Last week I mentioned that the Cape Cod Times suggested crushed eggshells in the planter so I put those in there last week. One of our readers also suggested that his dad put a fish head in the ground before he put in the tomato plants. Since I didn't have fish heads on hand I went with the egg shells.With the rains behind us (I hope) we should have a lot more growth to report next week. Stay tuned!
