Filthy Republican Hypocrites Demonstrate Their Homophobia In Plain View of News Organizations And No One Pays Any Attention

OK, so what does one need to do or say to make some people notice what's going on here. Now if you read this blog you may have noticed that I do not really care for people who support the Republican Party. I'm not going to go into that right now but suffice to say that I couldn't care less about any of the current crop of Republican presidential candidates. I consider them all to be the worst kind of hypocrites calling for less government intrusion into our lives yet they all support a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality and most support the overturn of Roe v. Wade and the intrusion of government into the goings on in a woman's personal and (hopefully) private uterus. Oh boy... I digress...

Not bad looking but Oy! Vaht a dunze!

You may have heard of Fred Karger. He is a poor (wealthy), GAY!, misguided fool who is running for President as a Republican. He hasn't got a tinker's damn of a chance of being nominated but he has been getting some support in the polls; enough to qualify him for the Fox News Presidential Debate a couple of weeks ago. But somehow Miss Thing's invitation to the ball got misplaced because it never arrived. And when she asked about it she was told (basically) to go back to your salon and needlework and leave the men (including Michelle Bachmann) alone. Karger's qualifications (poll results) to participate were better than that moronic Rick "Frothy Mix" Santorum's for goodness sake! But Miss Thing was blackballed anyway. Just because she's a big girl. 

I didn't like that. Not at all. While I think Karger's a fool and a turncoat, I can appreciate the sheer infamy of the Republican's filthy snub of Karger simply because he's gay. He deserves my derision because he's gay and a member of a party that seeks to make people like me second class citizens. But when you get right down to it... I mean the lowest common denominator, we are all humans and deserve to be equal. Oh dear... I digress again...

Well, it's happened again to Fred Karger. Now it seems that CNN is going to be having a debate and not only are they not inviting Miss Thing again, they are inviting people who aren't even candidates to participate in their "Presidential Debate"!! Rudi Friggin' Guiliani and "Die Hexe auf Wasilla" Sarah Palin! Amazing! But has anyone heard anything about it? Will the "network news" organizations say or do anything about it? No... why should they. Fred Karger's a big fagelah and doesn't matter.

This makes no sense — choosing to bypass inviting an actual candidate running for the President to your debate, but roll out the red carpet for two non-candidates. That is absurdly discriminatory.

In a statement, CNN announces its line-up for the September 12 Tea Party Express co-sponsored debate in Tampa: Gov. Rick Perry, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep. Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and Jon Huntsman. The network adds that Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin were invited: “Giuliani declined the debate invitation, while a Palin representative has yet to respond to it.”

CNN can get away with this shadow dance of leaving, for instance, openly gay candidate Fred Karger off of the invite list by adhering to these standards for its Tea Party debate.

– A person must have received an average of at least 2.00% in at least three national polls released between July 1 and July 31 that were conducted by the following: ABC, AP, Bloomberg, CBS, CNN, FOX, Gallup, Los Angeles Times, Marist, McClatchy, NBC, Newsweek, Pew, Quinnipiac, Reuters, USA Today and Time.

Honestly it’s questionable whether Jon Huntsman, who’s polling in the low single digits, should be on that list either, but he’s there. Why can’t CNN buck the trend and have Karger up there to provide viewers with a broader view of the Republican field than the lopsided, fringe-right element. Putting Palin and Giuliani (the latter turned down the invite), sounds more like a ratings grab than a chance to show the American public a wider political range of the 2012 GOP Clown Car than most in the mainstream media normally expose them to.
