Oatmeal bread is great for sandwiches and toast or just by itself with a little butter. I've been buying Pepperidge Farm's Oatmeal Bread for a few months and while it is tasty it does have that "I've been on the shelf too long" feel about it. I got a bag of bread flour with a recipe for Oatmeal Bread on the back. I had all of the necessities so I made it. Just out of the oven, it looks great. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.
